The Owl and the Pussy-Cat went to sea
   In a beautiful pea-green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
   Wrapped up in a five pound-note.

We had our Friday get-together on the beach at Big Lagoon, Redwood National and State Parks.  This is the rest area/beach access; the little "secret" campground we had monopolized was above, up a bluff trail hidden in douglas firs and redwoods.

The big question was: can we feed 17 people from just one barbecue?  The answer was, in fact, yes, and we had plenty of leftovers in the end too.  Edmund did the cooking: hamburgers, hot-dogs, baked potatoes; we had fruit, grilled veggies, salads, bread, etc.
