Night Shift

Dr. Marvin Minsky  was a pioneer of artificial intelligence and robotic engineering.  He gradually had parts of his body replaced with cybernetic enhancements, and eventually downloaded himself into an artificial body before his brilliant intelligence could be lost to the world due to the decay of a mere organic body.  He makes his home on Parallel 9, where human and artificial consciousnesses live in harmony (or so the brochure says.) 

Dr. Minsky accepted a position with Precinct 9 and recently assisted the SOB team in a joint operation to capture the Caligulator.
