Successfully prepared environmental compliance documentation for 22 development and restoration projects under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Made a case with the Washington State Department of Ecology for a proposed outfall to be treated as a de minimis source, based on data from an existing outfall and from design calculations; Ecology concurred. This decision meant that the client did not have to undertake a costlier and more time-consuming permitting process, allowing construction of the new exhibit to adhere to a tight schedule.
On behalf of stakeholders, evaluated environmental documentation prepared by other agencies or consultants and provided recommendations that substantially improved the environmental review.
