Required Book
Readings from the required textbook will be assigned weekly. This
is not an optional item. The textbook is:
Canter, Larry W. (1996,
1977) Environmental Impact Assessment, 2nd ed. McGraw-Hill,
Inc. New York, New York.
(These options to purchase the textbook are simply there to help you.
I am not a member of any of those organizations, so I don't have any personal
interest in where you get the textbook from - so long as you read it...)
Recommended Books
The following two books are strongly recommended:
Bass, Ronald E. and Albert
I. Herson (1993). Mastering NEPA: A step-by-step approach.
Solano Press Books, Point Arena, California.
Bass, Ronald E., Albert
I. Herson and Kenneth Bogdan (1996). CEQA Deskbook. Solano
Press Books, Point Arena, California.
These books are "relatively" inexpensive, and will be immensely
useful to anyone who encounters CEQA or NEPA in a professional capacity.
