Kianga is a Nghoi human in the Mounchili village on the edge of the bIda rainforest. Her father was from the matriarchal Aliaka clan, while her mother was from the patriarchal gUnda clan, so she belongs to both clans and to neither. She acts as town crier and gossip-monger.
