Legends of the Five Rings: Ogre Habitrail

For All Your Ogre Housing and Entertainment Care Needs

In an adventure from Phoenix Winter Court, Shawn took our characters to the subterranean levels of Shiro no Shiba.  There was a sort of pit going through half a dozen levels of dungeons, and we discovered that ogres had taken over.  Discussing the location between games, Shawn added:

Come to think of it, there are some 5 or 6 levels to that pit thingy with a hole that goes all the way down the middle.  The ogres are big enough to climb up and down through the hole.  It's an Ogre Habitrail!

The bottom area is the food chamber, where they break open the Phoenix bushi and eat the middle, discarding the empty shells.  Next level up has a couple of huge oaken blocks that are half chewed away, and a salt lick.  There's a rusty pipe that's broken open and drips constantly onto the rags that cover the floor, and rattling noises accompany the Ogres' attempts to suck more brackish water out of it.  Middle level is the exercise room with a squeaky running wheel that keeps the shugenja up all night.  Fourth up is completely filled with smelly shredded spell scrolls, hollowed out for the tunnel and a nest off to one side where they curl up and go to sleep.  The top section is their little social area, where their masters can take off the top and rub their furry little unwashed heads.
