Fading Sea or 7th Sun?

Begun in December 2001, this site is my attempt to convert Holistic Design's Fading Suns game setting to AEG's 7th Sea system.  While I love the rich setting of Fading Suns, the system does not please me.  I find it unwieldy and clunky, and I'm certainly not the only one to feel that way since there is an astonishing number of conversions, home brews, adaptations, rules "fixes", and house rules available for it on the 'Net.  Here is one more drop in the bucket...

On the other hand, I really like AEG's 7th Sea system, which I find to be balanced, flexible, and nicely cinematic.  It is also in a setting that is in many ways comparable, and is thus easy to convert.  You can view the Web page for the 7th Sea game my husband runs by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.

I am still playtesting this conversion, so there will certainly be changes, but I have high hopes.

Updates:  I do not keep a running log of updates because I'm pretty much always fiddling with the Web site, but I do date the individual pages' last update.

Format: This page should work with most browsers, including text-only browsers.  It has been tested in multiple browsers and seems to work fine.  The most complex elements you should find are tables, clickable maps, and stylesheets.  I try to the size of graphics and number per page to a decent value.  Let me know if you have problems with this site in your browser, I will try to improve the situation.
