The Windling Tree

The Windling Tree is a large "Grandmother" tree, the only one left in Erengazor proper, which towers some 200 feet above the town.  Approximately 20 Windlings live in the upper branches.

Sunshine Scrivening and Delivery Service

Windlings operate two businesses in Erengazor.  The first is a branch of the Sunshine Scrivening and Delivery Service, a Windling operation found throughout Barsaive.  Sunshine Scrivening copies and delivers documents throughout Barsaive and has limited service to Sky Point and Vivane Province as well.  Cost depends on the distance that the document must be delivered.  Sunshine also offers to read documents to those who cannot do so themselves.  One or two Windlings are usually lounging near the foot of the tree waiting for business during the day.

Blacksmith

The second business is a small (no pun intended) blacksmith shop located near the top of the tree.  This shop specializes in Windling-sized items, but will sometimes make "specialty" items for larger namegivers, such as buttons, belt buckles, and the like.  The level of detail work on such items is exquisite, and such items usually sell for up to 5x their "normal" cost because of the high quality workmanship.
