Little Kelpoya

Named after an island in the ancient ork nation of Kara Fahd, Little Kelpoya is the area of greatest ork/troll population in Erengazor.  Buildings here have a distinctly orkish design to them, with a few troll buildings standing out because of their size.  Orks in Little Kelpoya outnumber the trolls by almost three to one, but the larger size of the trolls makes the numbers appear almost even to the average observer on the street.

Little Kelpoya does not have a bazaar, but does hold an open air market once per week.

Little Kelpoya is represented on the Erengazor Council by Chundaw Mountaingale, a retired Troll Swordmaster of 4th Circle.  In addition to her work on the Council, Chundaw also oversees and trains the portion of the city watch that patrols Little Kelpoya.

Shrine to Meera-a-a-arg

This is a small area of worship devoted to the Passion Astendar, who the orks call Meera-a-a-arg.  There is a statue of the Passion, appearing as a female ork, playing an 8-stringed instrument.  There are usually at least a couple of orks here practicing their art form of choice at any given time.

Shrine to Floranuus

This is a large park and pavilion, built to troll standards of size and dedicated to the Passion Floranuus.  Structures such as tables and benches are very strongly constructed.  The area is open to anyone, and is used in all forms of celebration from birthdays to important holidays.  There is no depiction of the Passion, but there is a large brazier in the center of the park which is typically filled with oil and set alight during festivities.

Residence of Zhozver the Healer

Zhozver Straightbones is an ork who provides healing services for Little Kelpoya.  He is neither an adept nor a Quaestor of Garlen – merely a learned individual skilled in the mundane healing arts.  He is well known throughout the town and is well liked, though he seldom leaves Little Kelpoya.

Mountain Blood Smithy

Run by a family of trolls, the Mountain Blood smithy provides for many of the mundane metal working needs of Little Kelpoya, including the manufacture of common household items, nails, tools, etc.

Tavern – The Barrel and Barrel Taphouse

(See in Bars, Taverns, Taphouses and Seedy Dives of Erengazor.)

The Pale Thundra

An average quality stable, attached to the Barrel and Barrel but run independently, that caters to the needs of those who need to house riding animals.

Stone on Stone

This business, unnamed by its owner but referred to as the Stone on Stone by the locals, is an obsidiman-run stoneworking establishment.  Most work is of a very mundane sort – foundation construction and repair, chimney building, the occasional wall repair and the like.  The owner, a purple-veined obsidiman named Smusat, oversees the business himself but hires local orks and trolls to do most of the actual work.
