The Ise zumi warrior-monks of the Dragon Clan are part of the priesthood, although much of their training is in the martial arts, and they utilize magical tattoos which give them special powers as well. The warrior-monks are ascetics, who are expected to live lives of celibacy and poverty. They keep their heads shaved, and wear only the simplest of clothing. Although they can use weapons, most eschew them in favor of unarmed combat.
