• Martha Grimmes – former RCAF fighter pilot, now sheriff of Nekoma.
• John Lundegardt – a crippled Templar and surgeon who calls Nekoma home.
• Tumbleweed – John Lundegardt's squire, a mute tribal girl of 13.
• Victoria Grimmes – Martha's 8-year-old daughter.
• Ian Soames – the owner and bartender of the Nekoma Bar and Grille.
• Hobbes – grotesquely fat, cowardly Junker formerly employed by the Combine, who works primarily with Car Spirits
• Caleb and Marley – Two kids whose parents were killed by the demon Atheron.
