Summary of some places investigated by Christian-Sinne in recent cases.
Haven
Haven is the closest thing to a planetary capital, situated on Argos Island, the largest island in the Haven Cluster of the Pacifica Archipelago. Haven's longitude defines the Poseidonian Prime Meridian (0° 0' 0") and its latitude is approximately 14° 8' 34" south. Haven is the oldest settlement on the planet, and the most "cosmopolitan".
- Brighton Projects: GEO-sponsored low-income housing complex in Brighton, where Khan's apartment was situated. See Buch-Larsen case.
- Culloden Inn: One of the oldest and most excentrically Old Earth inns on Poseidon. It was founded at a time where such a building was an extravagant and defiant denial of the Abandonment. It replicates an Edwardian mansion, surrounded by lavish grounds. Small by modern standards, it now falls in the historical tourism fad. See Buch-Larsen case.
- Gorkytown: Part of the Warehouse District controlled by the Gorchoff Family, known for its pharium and prostitution businesses. Visited during the recent Buch-Larsen case.
- Haven Istitute of Technology (HIST): HIST is the only formal institution of higher learning on Poseidon. The Institute's focus is on biology, planetology, and marine engineering.
- Revolution Lounge: Club in The Heights, patronized by the high class people of Haven. Controlled by the Gorchoff Family, but kept shiny and clean. It boasts a long bar crossing the centre of the entire main room, a large dance floor, and a cetacean pool with its own exit. Visited during the recent Buch-Larsen case.
- The Rocks: Bar owned by Callista Doyle's brother, Daemon Doyle. It has a cetacean area and two floors, and is famous for hosting live bands. The in-house band is called "The Sirens".

Second Try
Situated almost directly west of Haven on the Island of Westward in the Haven Cluster, Pacifica archipelago at 14° 16' 31" south and 5° 14' 22" west, Second Try is the second oldest settlement on Poseidon. Although the first effort to establish a community there, Homestead, was a failure, the original colonists persevered. Their tenacity resulted in the city of Second Try. The city is more marked by Native cultural influence than other cities in the Cluster.
- Aquatech: Cetacean-owned and well-respected business specializing in watercraft maintenance. The Sea Monkey was repaired there recently after the initial tangle with Malan Wilkinson in the Artur case.
- Plaza Hotel: A posh hotel catering to Incorporate types; recently the site of a shootout involving underworld characters. See Artur case.

The Wall
The Wall is a canyonland roughly 1500 km north of Haven, in the region of the Dolphin Sea known as The Styx, and is part of the Pacifica Archipelago. It consists of thousands of weathered rocks and cliffs too small to be considered islands, but that together form a considerable land mass.
- Shady Sea: Native village in the southwest portion of The Wall.
- Thor Station: GEO station in the central-southern portion of The Wall, named for 20th century explorer and anthropologist Thor Heyerdahl.

Other Islands
- Delphi Island: Home base for the Cet-Tel pod, also known as speak/do/far/body/water/same. Situated in the Haven Cluster, about 40 km out of Haven.
