Christian-Sinne, LLCPrivate InvestigatorsArtur CaseBlackmailCase SynopsisClient David Artur, deputy director of public relations for Biogene, hired Christian-Sinne to retrieve a dataspike containing compromising information. Designated one Malin Wilkinson as having initiated negotiations under threat of making contents of dataspike public. Initial efforts to scope the forces involved resulted in Wilkinson spotting CS personnel and administering an unidentified hallucinogenic to investigator Sinne, possibly a variety of pharium. The drug resulted in inducing elevated aggression levels doubled with an adrenaline rush. When Wilkinson took flight towards Second Try, Sinne, in her abnormal state, stole a boat to pursue. Fortunately, investigator Christian and associate Silverback were there as back up and caught up with Sinne when the effect of the drugs left her drained. The entire team subsequently caught up with Wilkinson in Second Try, and identifying Wilkinson's craft in the harbour. Additional investigation revealed the name of the hotel where Wilkinson was staying. After recon by investigator Bob (via remote), associate Doyle went in with associate Silverback to attempt to negotiate for the Artur dataspike. Investigators Christian and Sinne acted as backup. The negotiation attempt was unsuccessful. Wilkinson and his two bodyguards exchanged fire with CS personnel. To break up the situation and/or as as a distraction and/or as cover, associate Doyle pulled the fire alarm. CS personnel managed to put down the opposition (believed at this time to have been left injured but not dead). CS personnel also retrieved a briefcase filled with dataspikes. CS personnel evacuated the hotel and returned to Haven. The Artur dataspike was identified from its serial number and associate Silverback accessed its contents for verification. Dataspike revealed client David Artur engaging in consensual sex with a variety of partners, but no illegal activities. Other dataspikes, however, contained information of varying nature but all likely to be used for blackmail. A number revealed illegal activities. Investigator Sinne contacted a former colleague and turned the information over to the GEO, except for the Artur dataspike. Within the same evening, GEO Marshal Peter Church visited the CS team at its headquarters. He debriefed the team and checked the contents of the Artur dataspike. According to Marshal Church, Wilkinson was wanted by the GEO and believed to be working for the Gorchoff crime syndicate. No official complaints should be expected to result from the high-profile events in Second Try.
