As the young Magi of the newly formed covenant discover more about their new haven, details will be added.
The Petrified Village. Nearly a week north of Las Ermitas in the foothills of the Sierra Morena, is a ruined village which appears to have been petrified. The inhabitants of Las Ermitas tell of two crazed hermits, to whom their hamlet owes its name, who guard the stone village, cause earthquakes, and command statues to walk. The petrified village, for now nameless, appears to have been just an ordinary village in the distant past; but everything that used to be wood or thatching has been turned to stone. Its only notable feature is a tower which was already made of stone. The Covenant is situated approximately a day's march from the petrified village
Getting There. The Covenant is located in a Regio and can only be reached by someone wearing one of eight known Terram amulets made of diamond. As the wearers pass through the pairs of standing stones guarding the road, they move up through the Terram Regio. The landscape appears much more craggy, rocky, and broken than it does on the mundane plane. Although a stream runs through the area in the mundane world, it does not exist in the Regio. A few petrified skeletons can be seen by the side of the road along the way to the Regio. When the Magi approached the Covenant, they found it guarded by two stone servants.
The Covenant. The building itself is an ancient, abandoned Roman villa laid out in the shape of the Terram symbol. The Covenant seems to have been deliberately abandoned; no trace can be found of furnishings or possessions. There are three courtyard gardens, each with a fountain in the center, but they are overgrown and the fountains no longer flow.
The Hidden Heart. In the center is a wealth of crystals, likely the source of Terram Vis. There is also a strange golden ring standing as high as a man, whose purpose is unknown. It may be the source of the unusual magical aura around the Covenant. This aura is so strong that mortals can only stay briefly before they are harmed by it.
