Iberia Campaign

Anchel is a very large, very ugly Catalan, rather timid and inarticulate but with a strong temper, quick to anger and quick to remorse, and with a passion for fairy tales.

Anchel is a good and simple man, but he is afflicted with a terrible temper.  He flies into violent rages, soon followed by deep remorse and shame.  Anchel is a devout Christian, though his faith is a simple one and theological subtleties elude him.  After he hit his sergeant and left him for dead, he ran away -- more in anguish for his soul than in fear of the mundane consequences.  After a series of small jobs guarding travelers such as merchants and pilgrims, he was eventually recruited by Sara.

Anchel may not have found the best career, since he is both fascinated and terrified by the supernatural.  He has a passion for fairy tales, and the topic of the Good Folk is the only one that will reliably draw him into conversation.  On the other hand, he is very afraid of ghosts.
