Known as the "Living Ruin", Siegsburg is the capital and only settlement of note left of the most devastated province in Eisen, Wische. The worst of the War of the Cross was fought in and around Siegsburg, leaving only devastation behind. The walls of the city and the castle still show gaping breaches, three quarters of the dwellings have been left empty shells, and the rest are overcrowded with refugees.
Constanza visited the city during the adventure of The Ghouls of Siegsburg, when she led a hunt to rid the city of the ghouls that preyed upon the sick, starving and weak.

Credits: The map of Siegsburg is actually a map of the Dutch city of Breda with, to use Theron Bretz' felicitous expression, the serial numbers filed off. You can notice the dams and windmills! The original was published in 1652 in Blaeu's Toonneel der Steden (the "atlas of Free Belgium".) Obtained from Dutch City maps from the Blaeu Atlas, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Netherlands.
