Our heroes have encountered a few islands that merit mention.
Western
Isles
Ile de la Bête: Montaigne-controlled
hunting preserve and Syrneth site, where they met Lucius Malveck in Scoundrel's
Folly.
Footprint Island: Location of
the Montaigne-run Talon Prison from which the heroes freed Aaron Blackstone
to get his clues to the Bonita's treasure.
Claw Island: First island where they
ran afoul of Reis's crew, looking for the Bonita's treasure.
Found a Syrneth site and picked up a claw-like Syrneth gauntlet.
Treasure Reef: Second island
where they ran afoul of Reis's crew, looking for the Bonita's treasure.
Fought a giant spider and found the treasure, only to have Reis steal it.
The Straits of Blood: Island chain
located a few hundred leagues from the Montaigne coast, it is a known pirate
haven protected by a series of reefs with only one safe entry point.
Constanza was taken there a few times by navigators of the Brotherhood of
the Coast.
Midnight Archipelago: Island chain to the far west of Theah,
vessels returning from this exotic land have brought back goods such as chocolate
and tobacco. The heroes were taken there by Gosse and his crew.
Utopia: Island settlement founded by Philip Gosse and his followers
when they retired from piracy; situated in the Midnight Archipelago.. The
heroes were taken there when the Unchartered Course had to effect
repairs.
La Palabra de Dios: Site of the
infamous prison of La Bucca in La Boca de Cielo, from which Allende and his
original buccaneers escaped. Now reputed taken over by the Brotherhood
of the Coast.
Cabora: The "Isle of the Sunken Eye", a legendary island in
the Mirror reputed to have sunk beneath the waves ages ago. The island rose from the waves after Constanza activated the Sixth Switch.
Bryn Bresail: The mythical home of the Sidhe race, anyone taken
here can return years later and not have aged a day. The heroes took
refuge there when they were pursued by Reis's Crimson Roger.
The Spear of the West Wind: Located in the Trade Sea, northeast
of the Vesten-Vendel archipelago. Home of an ancient Vesten artefact,
a gigantic spire carved with glowing runes and said to allow Robert de Méchant,
captain of the Black Freighter, to control undead minions and the winds.
The spire was destroyed by the heroes.
Island of the Fifth Switch: An island situated south of the Mirror Sea, completely devoid of any animal or plant life but covered in Syrneth ruins. The heroes were guided there (to their worry) by the construct calling itself Mumblety Peg, as they tried to rescue a kidnapped woman called Maggie Malone in order to fulfill the Vesten Oracle's Prophecy.
