From the day I arrived here in Eisen,
And bleeding, fell into the mud.
There's more that I've seen that should never be seen,
More we do that is splattered with blood.

Some say kill for the money,
Some say run and go hide.
But all are agreed as our countryside bleeds,
We show nothing for all that have died.

Some of us fall while in battle.
And some of us starve in the cold.
And some of us wander, like zombies,
Our minds lost from horrors untold.

There's far too much to endure here,
More to scream than we can with breath.
But the only bright light that we have in the night,
Is the promise of eternal death.
