| Leviathan is believed to be the largest creature on all of Théah.
It is not certain whether there is only one Leviathan or an entire species,
but he is always referred to as a unique entity. Because he protects
the whales, the entire whaling trade is both far more risky and lucrative
than on our Earth of the same period. Whalers caught by Leviathan
are summarily destroyed.
The heroes encountered Leviathan while they were travelling aboard the
Drake
in the Scoundrel's Folly adventure and fished some drowning Vesten
whalers after the huge creature had smashed the whaling ship like a toy.
The heroes were very, very happy Leviathan let them go in one piece.
