| An old Vodacci monk who has dedicated his life to the destruction of
sorcery, Fra Giancarlo Ciccioni is also the man who murdered don Juan de
Orduño's mother because she was a practioner of El Fuego Adentro.
Juan swore revenge when he finally learned the killer's identity, but Fra
Giancarlo has stayed out of sight since then. No doubt a rematch
is imminent. Fra Giancarlo is generally accompanied by a group of
extremely competent, extremely lethal bodyguards.
