| Hans, alias "the Fleishwulff", is gifted with magical powers that resemble
no other known sorcery in Théah. By carving small wooden statuettes
of them, he seems to be able to gain power over his victims. He then
asks them riddles, and the souls of victims unable to answer the riddle
are captured and bound to the graven images. He may possibly be related
to the Sidhe.
The heroes met him in the adventure of The Lady's Favour when they hired him as a guide to cross the Weissenbergen mountains. When brother Cadfaello was able to answer the Fleishwulff's riddle, the heroes were freed and defeated the creature. Although the heroes believed him dead, Constanza heard during her most recent travels in Eisen (Primus 1669) that this creature always comes back after being defeated and is believed to be around still. Sure enough, the rest of the heroes had a run-in with him in a village
on the outskirts of Freiburg, where he again forced them to play his games.
This time, it's Mendoza who had the last word.
