| On Bryn Bresail, the Fir Bolg are traditional enemies
of both the Sidhe and the Tuatha De Danann. They were the earlier
inhabitants of Innismore; after a war, they had been beaten back by the Tuatha
De Danann and their allies the Sidhe, but the Sidhe had then betrayed the
Tuatha. The Fir Bolg are now banished to the WinterDark portion of
Bryn Bresail. They appears as very tall (4 meters), hairy, and uncouth
humanoids. Inasmuch as the heroes understand it, the Fir Bolg are (or were) allies of the Syrneth race called the Thalusai, while the Domae were aligned with the Sidhe. The heroes visited the Fir Bolg court when, stranded on Bryn Bresail, they performed a service for the Queen of the Sky. They then had to discover the secret of the Tuatha weapons for the Fir Bolg. |
