| Aaron Blackstone started his sailing career as part of the Montaigne
Navy in the days when Avalon was part of Montaigne. In 1647, his
brother Conrad and him led a mutiny of their ship, the Scotter,
and turned to piracy. Aaron Blackstone made himself known for his
cruelty and vicious treatment of prisoners. During the Avalon War
of Independence of the mid-1650s, the brothers were captured by the Montaignes
and pressed into service in the Montaigne navy; after the war, having been
caught trying to jump ship, Aaron ended in Talon Prison on Footprint Island.
Aaron and his brother marooned Constanza's father, Simeon Rivera de Orduño, on a desert island in 1648. In early 1668, the heroes broke him out of Talon Prison and forced him to give his part of the sea shanty that was the clue to a treasure's location, during the adventure of The Bonita's Treasure. |
